The stunning Mount Horrocks Cordon Cut Riesling is a stand-alone dessert in itself or perfect partner to fruit-based desserts, especially citrus flavours. This unique dessert wine is produced from cane cut fruit which has undergone concentration of the vine. Winemaker NotesBright pale yellow gold with a distinctive lime-edged youthfulness. Wildflower, orange essence, vanilla and musk notes leap from the glass. Here’s a sweet white that doesn’t cloy – it’s vibrant and tangy with tangerine zip, sweet lime and delicious juicy fruit flavours all wrapped up in a framework of zesty acidity keeping it crisp and oh so more-ish. This vintage appears a little lighter and fresher, more focussed even – which auger well for both its drinkability and cellaring.
