ON-SITE REQUIREMENTS FOR TANK DELIVERIES Clear access is required for a truck and trailer combination which is 19 metres long x 3.5 metres wide and 5 metres high (similar size to a semi-trailer). If access is not provided or if driver deems the delivery impractical or impossible then the tanks will be off loaded to the most practical place. PLEASE ENSURE – there are a min of 2 to 3 strong adults (not kids or elderly) to help the driver place the tank on the prepared tank pad. PLEASE ENSURE – that the tank is tied down if the tank is not being installed immediately. In strong winds large empty tanks can move. PRODUCT RETURNS Any Product retuned must be in ‘as new condition”. Specifically not marks or scratches. Any product wrongly ordered by customer and a credit is accepted by the manufacturer will incur a 15% re-stocking fee plus a freight charge. Any “made to order” tank where fittings are non-standard may not be returned. TANK INSTALLATION The tank must be installed on a flat level area with 75mm of compacted crusher dust with border that is 600mm wider than the tank or a concrete base that is 100 mm wider than the tank on all sides. The area must be free from any rocks, stones and sharp objects. The overflow must be plumbed into storm water or plumbed away from the base of the tank – this is to ensure the base is not eroded overtime and compromised.
