The plug-and-play functionality, allows the IC-M506EURO to easily connect to a NMEA 2000 network IC-M506 marine transceiver has built-in active noise cancelling function uses digital signal processing technology to reduce background noise by up to 90% on the incoming signal, and 30% on the transmitting signal, providing clear communication even in any loud seas or ocean evnvironment. Optional COMMANDMIC™ for 2nd Station Capability is available enabling most functions including DSC and AIS to be controlled from the COMMANDMIC™. It can also be used as an intercom with the IC-M506. The IC-M506 EURO automatically records the last two minutes of the last incoming call and allows for replay of the recorded message.
